Toby Courtauld, has been the Chief Executive of the listed property company Great Portland Estates plc since 2002. He graduated from Cambridge University in 1991 and has spent all his professional life in commercial real estate. He is a past President of the British Property Federation and sits on its Policy Committee as well as the Board of the New West End Company. He is also a non-executive director of the fine wine exchange, Liv-ex and a member of the Council of Imperial College London. He lives in London and is married with three children.

John Worth is the executive vice president of research and investor outreach at Nareit. Prior to joining Nareit. Worth was the chief economist of the National Credit Union Administration from 2010 to 2015. Before joining NCUA, he spent nearly a decade at the U.S. Treasury where he served as the director of the Office of Microeconomic Analysis. Worth has also worked as a consultant for Welch Consulting and the RAND Corporation. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Southern California.

Dani Burger is a London-based anchor for Bloomberg TV and radio. She hosts Bloomberg TV’s morning program “Daybreak Europe” along with regular appearances throughout European and U.S. programming.

Burger covers market moving news and interviews leaders in asset management, private equity, policymakers, and corporate executives. High profile interviews include South Africa central bank governor Lesetja Kganyago, The Carlyle Group’s David Rubenstein, EQT AB’s Christian Sinding, Leeds United Football Club owner Andrea Radrizzani, and chief executives from companies including Heineken, Allianz, Societe Generale, Renault, and Novartis.

She’s broken exclusive stories on multi-billion dollar funds and companies. Burger was also recognized by the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing for the 2018 Larry Birger Young Business Journalist Award.

Burger joined Bloomberg News in New York in 2014, writing stories on cross-asset trends, quantitative hedge funds, and passive strategies. She graduated from the University of Virginia with distinction.

Paul is Director of Strategy & Corporate Development at Workspace Group PLC, responsible for driving the flexible work space provider’s strategic direction and ambitious growth plans. He was previously Executive Director of the UK Investment Banking Real Estate team at J.P. Morgan Cazenove.

Paul has extensive Corporate Finance advisory and Corporate Broking experience, advising companies across the sector on a wide variety of transactions, notably focused on Merger & Acquisitions and Equity Capital Markets.

Having joined Workspace in October 2021, Paul headed up Workspace’s acquisition McKay Securities PLC in the spring of 2022, and has driven the integration of the company and its assets into Workspace’s portfolio.

Established in 1987 and listed on the London Stock Exchange since 1993, Workspace is home to thousands of businesses, including fast growing and established brands across a wide range of sectors. Workspace is geared towards helping businesses perform at their very best, providing more than 5.5 million square feet of inspiring, flexible work spaces in dynamic London and southeast locations.

Born in 1973, he graduated in Economics and Business at the University of Trento and he earned an MBA from The University of Kansas. He has been Chief Executive Officer Italy of Covivio since January 2019. Previously, he was General Manager of Beni Stabili Siiq since July 2016.
From 2005 to 2016, he covered positions with increasing levels of responsibility in Pirelli Real Estate SGR, then Prelios SGR, for which he was Head of Fund and Asset Management, managing a real estate portfolio of over €5 billion, spread over 28 real estate funds specializing in the office, retail and residential sectors. From 2000 to 2005, he was a member of the strategy and finance practice with a focus on the real estate sector of Deloitte Consulting.

He gained over 20 years’ experience in the real estate sector, managing transactions totaling over €10 billion, significant real estate developments and M&A operations in the sector.
Since 2020 he has been Chairman of the Urban Regeneration Committee of Confindustria Assoimmobiliare.

Stéphane Tortajada joined Klépierre as Executive Board member and Chief Financial Officer in June 22, 2022.
He has over 25 years’ experience in finance and real estate. Holding leadership roles at investment banks, including Lazard, in mergers and acquisitions, financing, capital markets and asset management. Most recently he was group head of finance and investment of the energy group EDF for twelve years. He managed the international real estate arm of Groupe Casino, implementing differentiated strategies of asset rotation, development, and rental reversion for a portfolio of shopping malls.
Stéphane  is a civil engineer graduate of the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and a Master’s Graduate in Finance (IEP Paris). He is a member of the French Society of Investment Analysts.

Carmina is also member of the Board of “Círculo de Economia”, Barcelona Global and Esade-Alumni.

Prior to that Helen was Director of Legal and General Property, responsible for the Main Life Fund and c.8 smaller Funds, Group Property Director of Railtrack and Managing Director of John Laing Developments.

Helen is Senior Independent Director on the Board of Derwent London, is a Non-Exec Director of Business LDN and is currently Vice Chair and a Board Director of the European Public Real Estate Association. Helen is Past President of the British Property Federation and was a member of the Government’s Urban Centre Recovery Taskforce for post Covid recovery. Helen has held a number of non-exec positions and Government appointments including the Board of Covent Garden Market Authority, Board of British Waterways and was a Trustee for The College of Estate Management for nine years. Helen is an Honorary Fellow of University College of Estate Management.

Svitlana Gubriy is Head of Indirect Real Assets at abrdn. Abrdn’s Indirect Real Assets comprises global listed real estate, real estate multi-manager and indirect infrastructure platforms within the wider Real Assets team that manages over £42bn of real estate and infrastructure assets globally.  Svitlana is responsible for the team based in Boston, London, Edinburgh, Singapore and Hong Kong managing the indirect real assets’ investments across a number of global and regional mandates. In addition, Svitlana has primary responsibilities for managing investments, identifying new investment opportunities and implementing our strategy for a number listed real estate strategies. Prior to joining Standard Life Investments in 2005, Ms. Gubriy worked in real estate investment banking division of Lehman Brothers in New York. Svitlana graduated with a Diploma with Honours in Applied Mathematics (Kyiv Taras Shevchenko University), an MA in Applied Economics (Southern Methodist University) and an MBA in Finance and Corporate Accounting (University of Rochester). Svitlana also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
